Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal entered Thursday having already set a new career-best in home runs, with 19.

Grandal made his 20th -- a long one off Phillies right-hander Jerad Eickhoff -- memorable for other reasons. Namely, he hit himself in the face with the ball.

Take a look:

Okay, so Grandal didn't hit himself with the ball so much as he hit the picture of himself on the scoreboard. But still, that's a heck of a well-(ill?)-placed home run.

Grandal's home run continues a hot second half, and he's been a big reasons for the Dodgers' success. He entered Thursday night having hit 288/.412/.600 with seven homers since the break.
